Bullet Points of My Life Lately

- Chloe was sick - fever, coughing, crankiness. Luckily the worst of it was Thursday and Friday, when she was home with my mom and Eric. She was fine to go back to the babysitter's on Monday. 

- I was a little sick too, but mostly just a head cold that passed quickly. 

- Mom's been staying with us for over a week now. Tonight she flies away to move. For good. I don't think we'll see her until my wedding in 2015. 

- My nephew was with us also from Wednesday night until Monday morning. Madi was over Thursday and Friday through the day. Needless to say, I'm happy I was working. Wayyy too many people for me. 

- We've been working hard at our bead business. I don't post about it in here anymore because I don't want google searches bringing people to this blog, like it was before. And for that reason I even started a bead blog. Our custom people are a lot of fun to make. 

- The new job is going great. Most days are flying by. No complaints there. Yet :p

10 Things I Did This Week

1. I got my engagement ring back last Sunday, and took it right back to get re-sized for a second time. There was an airplane problem so I still don't have it back. 

2. I got an Old Navy gift card from work, and used it with my Supercash to get $41 in clothes, and only spent $6 of my own money. But I also spent a bit of money getting a few things for the girl at Wal-Mart. Do you know who needs summer clothes? Definitely not my girls. Bad addiction. 

3. I finally got new tires put on my car. Eric took the car in for me. 

4. Chloe and I spent the day and night at Mom's Saturday night. We spent the entire day outside. Chloe went in the pool twice and loved it. It was a pretty great day. I wish we had a big yard with a pool. All that sun and heat had me wanting to take a nap at 6pm but I survived until 10 without one. 

5. Sunday morning we ate breakfast outside then Chloe and I went to visit my friend Scott - who just got home from a year in the Dominican PLUS it was his birthday. It was great visiting with everyone but we left early in the afternoon because Chloe didn't want to nap earlier and was starting to get cranky. 

6. I sold over $20 in books. My basement feels lighter already. I can't wait to get ALL the junk out. 

7. I went to the dinner theatre preview show with Eric. The show was fantastic as they always are. The food was just okay. 

8. Eric and I finally finished season 3 of Arrested Development (which I've already seen a few times) and are now watching the new season 4 on Netflix. I'm still forming an opinion on it. 

9. I got re-addicted to cheesy pretzel bits. I was addicted to them a few years ago but got sick of them. 

10. I started a wedding blog, but don't know if I'm going to use it or not. 

5 Things.

1. I posted a video of the girls 'dancing' in the car to Gangnam style, and said at the bottom  that there was a secret. A boring secret. If you view the video on YouTube, you might realize it's posted by boyfriend, and so his real name is posted. To save you the trouble of looking (assuming you care), his name is Eric. I may or may not still call him boyfriend from this point on. Eric is quicker to type though. 

2. In my post about Easter, I mentioned some changes. They happened. Mom moved in last night, and I got my new bedroom set. Hopefully it works out nicely, having Mom with us for awhile. I can't see how it won't. As for the bed, Eric and I both agree that it's too soft. We're get used to the lack of firmness in the mattress, and the insane fluffiness of the new comforter. 

3. I took some pictures while we visited a friend of mine last night, waiting to meet Mom. Mostly of Madi. Chloe wasn't being very photogenic. 

4. This weekend is party weekend. Eric's friends all get together for a boring wrestling thing Sunday night. I won't be attending. But Saturday night they also have a party. I'll be attending that one. We're both really looking forward to it. 

5. I have a severe addiction to buying second hand baby clothes. I honestly can not seem to stop myself. It usually starts with me needing one thing, but then I end up with 10-20 things. I need to try to have better control. I wish I was kidding.
