4 Yummy No Bake Cookie Recipes { Link up yours! }

I've always loved baking, but I'll admit that I'm lazy. I've been known to try a complicated recipe every now and then, but usually I like to stick to the simple stuff. One thing I love making and eating, is cookies, but I absolutely hate the time and effort it takes to scoop them all out onto the cookie sheet, and I've never been good at getting them all the same size.

But then there's no-bake cookies.

Melt some stuff in a pot then stir it all together? Easy enough. Then just throw blobs of it onto wax paper. Sounds perfect to me. Here are some no-bake recipes I've found (some I've tried) on Pinterest. Link up your cookie pins below!

1. Chocolate Hazelnut No-Bake Cookies

[ Source: Online Recipe Directory | via: Pinterest ]
Hazelnut is one of my favorite flavors. My mouth waters just thinking of these.

2. No-Bake Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookies

[ Source: Chocolate Covered Katie | via: Pinterest ]
This recipe is a tiny bit more complicated (for me anyway - I've never used oat flour before) but there's coffee in it. COFFEE. Yes, please.

3.  No-Bake Snickers Cookies

[ Source:  Pinch of Yum | via: Pinterest ]
I just made these a few nights ago - and yum is definitely the word!

4. Coconut No Bake Cookies

[ Source: Aunt Peg's Recipe Box | via: Pinterest ]
Coconut is my favorite. I want to make these next.

5 Great Wedding Ideas

I feel I should immediately point out that no, I'm not engaged. I'm not even close. But there's something about Pinterest that makes you want to plan a wedding. I think with Christmas recently passing, there have been a few engagements among my Pinterest friends, because a lot of wedding-related stuff has been creeping up on my home page and I've been pinning it for that day where I might actually plan one of my own.

Here are a few pin that I've found particularly awesome and wanted to share. If you have some awesome wedding-related pins, post about them and leave your link in the comments!

1. A Wedding Party Schedule

[ Blog:  Heart Love Weddings | Via: Pinterest ]
I love this idea because I was in a friend's wedding and we were constantly asking her where we had to be and when. The morning of the wedding, the boys were ready in their suits waiting for the photographers, but the photographers showed up where the girls were getting ready. It was an easy fix, but I like the idea of being super organized.

2. Dancing Shoes

[ Blog: Grow Old Along with Me | Via: Pinterest ]

If you're like me and often end up on a dirty dance floor barefoot, you'll know exactly why I love this idea so much. I kept a pair in the back of a friend's truck. As soon as the fancy parts of the wedding were over, I lost the heels for my flip flops. My feet thanked me.

3. RSVP Stuff

[ Credit: No idea. The pin didn't link back properly | Via: Pinterest ]

Funny and original. One other tip I learned was to number your RSVP cards. Just to help out with those people who reply 'yes' but don't actually give their name. I remember a friend being annoyed at this when she was wedding planning.

4. Games

[ Via: Martha Stewart Weddings | Via: Pinterest ]
A fun way to pass the time for those who don't like to dance. Such a fun, unique idea.

5. Fun Photos

Because there always has to be fun wedding photos taken.

Get the boys to pose how they think girls would, and girls to post how they think guys would.

10 Activities to Keep a Toddler Busy

With two little girls running (or crawling) around these parts, I spent some time over the summer looking up various activities I might be able to try with either or both of the girls. They get tired of just playing with their toys all day, and we can't always get outside so it's fun to try new things. We didn't get to try as many things as I would've liked, as Chloe is still too young to be able to do a whole lot, but I did find so many good ideas to share.

1. A Colorful Rice Garden

All you need for this one is a container to keep it in, some rice, food coloring and rubbing alcohol. Visit Share and Remember for the full instructions and more photos.

2. Bubble Bath Paint

Very simple to make, and can keep the entertained for a little extra bath time fun. See Meet the Dubiens for the ingredients and instructions. You could also do shaving cream paints

3. Fabric Squares in a Baby Wipe Dispenser

Very simple, and you can use any pattern of fabric that you like. I wish I would've found this pin sooner! Visit A Spotted Pony to see the full details.

4. Themed Sensory Bath

This princess-themed bath is so detailed and looks like so much fun for that little princess in your life. There are also other fun bath time ideas listed at the beginning of the post at Growing a Jeweled Rose. This particular example might be better for a child a bit older, but could still be used for a younger child.

5. DIY Car Track with Tape

I've looked but can't find the original source of this image, but how easy would this be to recreate?

6. Play-Dough Filled Balloons

This particular article, I found at Play Create Explore, but you'll find the more detailed post about it at Somewhat Simple. Basically stuff your balloons with play-dough and squeeze away.

7. Mess-Free Finger Painting

Such a simple but fun idea - paints inside a freezer bag.

8. Magnets + Cookie Sheet

This is one of those ideas where you can really get creative and use any kind of kid-friendly magnet or little trinkets you have around.

9. Pom-Pom Drop Bottle

For this one you could use any (clean) plastic jar or container that you have laying around.

10. Toddler Activity Bags

All kinds of good ideas, and perfect for travelling, too!

Pinterest Clean-up: Link up your desserts!

It's time to clean-up another one of your Pinterest boards.

Join with me and revisit your pins, one board at a time. The goal is to get rid of any bad pins, get everything more organized if possible, and find a few awesome pins to share with everyone on your blog (post the photos and links to the pins), then come back here and link up. And be nice and visit the person who linked up ahead of you, and more if you have the time. Visit the Pinterest Link-Up page for more information.

This week we are linking up desserts and sweets.

* As I'm having internet problems, as usual, and photos aren't loading, I'm only sharing one pin today. This is my sweets board on Pinterest.

[ Smores Croissants Pin -|- Blog Post ]
Marshmallows, chocolate chips, and a tube of crescent rolls. Can it get any easier?

Please be kind and visit the person who linked up ahead of you, or more if you have the time. It's good karma. And it would also be lovely if you would post this button as well:

DIY Fun on Pinterest {Link up}

As I mentioned last week, I am a crazy repinner, I rarely check the links and rarely even look at the pins until much later down the road. So this is a link up to get more organized, find awesome pins, and weed out the bad pins.

This week the category is DIY for Adults, so basically any craft/DIY projects that aren't specifically for kids.

Here are some fun things I've found:

[ Calendar Blocks Pin -|- Blog Post ]

[ Button art Pin -|- Button Art on Etsy ]
[ Playing Card Storage Pin -|- Blog post ]
I love card games, and I have a few empty wipe cases sitting around waiting to be used for something. This is something I think I'll have to do.

[ Cookie Sheet Magnet Board Pin -|- Blog post ]
I need to find a stand like this! But I already have an old cookie sheet I can use when I'm ready.

[ Postcard Journal Pin -|- Blog Post ]
I don't know if this one really belongs in this category, but it is my favorite. It's my favorite because I've been doing it since the first day of 2012. Although I was dumb, and didn't look at the blog post before starting. A date stamp would've made life so much easier, but I stamped each month with an actual stamp set that I had, and so far have not gone back to stamp the dates yet, because that'll take even longer. Plus the date stamp just looks better. I might go back and re-do them later on.

I love the thought that years from now I can look at one card and see what I did on that same date for years. Very cool.

Favorite Funnies from Pinterest and Future Link-Up

I don't know about you, but I am a serial repinner, which by my definition means that I just repin so many things for later use, without ever actually checking the link. Some things I repin, and later decide I'm not interested, the link doesn't work, the link doesn't provide as much info as I thought it would. But usually I discover great things.

So join with me and revisit your pins, one board at a time. If you have a lot of pins, only go through what you want to. The goal is to get rid of any bad pins, get everything more organized if possible, and find 5 awesome pins to share with everyone on your blog, then come back here and link up. Post the photos, and links to the pins.

We will link up every Thursday with a new board category. I will list the categories below, so you'll know in advance. For this week, I'm just going to share five pins from my LoL board. Cause you can't go wrong with the funny stuff.

If you decide to do the same today, leave me your link and I promise to leave you some love.
