The weekend of July 21st was a special one. Not only was it my first full weekend getting to spend time with boyfriend, sans babies, it was also the weekend that one of my oldest and closest friends got married. I was a bridesmaid, for the second time in my life, and it turned out to be such an amazing day.
Saturday, July 21st
I got up bright and early and boyfriend had to drop me off to get ready for the wedding. Hair and makeup was a fun time, since the hairdresser was my usual one, and she is so much fun. It was a long process to get everyone done, but it seemed to fly by.

We took pictures of the girls at her father's place after we were ready, and soon enough it was time for the bus to pick us up and take us to get her married. This was no ordinary bus. It was a gorgeous party bus, with a full-size fridge, leather seats, two tvs and two fireplaces. Very fancy.
Finally, we got to the chuch, and I was started to get nervous. I hate having all eyes on me. I was the second bridesmaid to walk out, and luckily the guys were meeting us halfway down the aisle. I was paired up with C., one of my closest male friends that I once lived with for about two years, so it make it that much easier. The ceremony was a lot shorter than I expected, and I only teared up a couple of times, then it was time to walk back out. We all exchanged hugs outside and waited for our friends and family to come out and find us.
It was nice to be reunited with boyfriend, as well as a friend that I haven't seen since October. We took one big heart-shaped group picture, before we all split up and the wedding party and our spouses boarded the party bus to go for more pictures. We went to the bride's grandparents' house, then the beach, then back the church grounds for pictures before we had to head over for the meal. I don't have any bridal pictures of my own, or any of the professional ones yet, but I did steal some from someone else, and took a few pictures of my own on the sidelines.

As the alcoholics we are, we were all feeling pretty good by the time we got back to the church grounds to take more photos, then into the dinner. The dinner and dance were full of laughs and so many good times. Mom took Chloe to the dinner.
We had the bridal dance, which was a combo of the Macarena, YMCA, and Cha Cha Slide. I was not a fan of this, but by the point we did it, we were all a little drunk, and everyone did horrible. It made it better.
I danced with everyone the rest of the night, pretty much had the time of my life, then it was time for goodbyes and to head back. A friend dropped me and boyfriend off at the hotel, and we were a little sad to check out in the morning, but our vacation wasn't over yet.
Sunday, July 22
We had an amazing breakfast in one of the small towns, then spend some of the afternoon visiting boyfriend's sister and her boyfriend at the cottage they were staying at. We went for a short walk on the beach, and finally it was time to start heading back to pick up our girls. It was an amazing weekend, and almost two weeks later, I'm still sad that it's over.
