I posted the before pictures of my sad, sad college-esque bedroom.
I had new bedroom furniture delivered just hours after that post went up.
I do love it. It's so... adult. And classy.
But one thing you don't realize about completely re-doing your bedroom furniture is how attached you might be to your old bed.
My new bed is higher, much higher. It's pillow top, so while that sounds comfy (and it is!) I'm used to a firm mattress. And it seems to dip a bit, mostly because boyfriend is about double my weight. Add to that the fact that we also put a new bedding set on, and it's like sleeping in a strangers house. The new comforter is still pretty fluffy and overwhelming.
Last night was night two, and I already slept much better than night one. It just takes adjusting.
Please excuse my cell-quality photos.

| I can't just 'sit' on the bed. I have to jump/climb a little |

| Excuse the mess. I really don't want my tv/Blu-ray player/Wii on my dresser, but that's where it's going for now. |
I never minded our tiny room until now. Now I wish we had a little more space. But definitely a huge improvement over what we had before. Thank God for taxes. We're too poor to afford this s**t on our own. Now, to start brainstorming on what to save for next.
