Big Brother 15: The Drama & Hate of Week 1

Oh wow, Big Brother.

I don't think I've ever seen so much ugliness so quickly.

Now, I don't watch the live feeds or read any spoiler, so I won't dig too deeply into the racist/hate comments that were spoken off tv. Just that I can't believe these people are saying this stuff so openly, knowing every word they speak is being recorded and is available for almost anyone to see.

I'm not completely judge-y on this, because I'm a really inappropriate person and while I love people of all colors and sexual orientation, I've made my share of horrible jokes and comments. (Dead baby jokes, anyone?) But the difference is, I don't believe those things, I don't say them to the public and I'm not a mean person.

Some of these people seem to be just plain mean and hateful. And I thought Aaryn would be a favorite. Gross.

[ via ]
Example: The wine incident from last night. The house was going to wait until midnight to open a bottle of wine so the have-nots could have some too. Aaryn, Jeremy and whoever else were in a room by themselves and Aaryn started whining about how she didn't want to wait so Jeremy went in, got the bottle of wine and they drank it all without telling the rest of the house. Naturally, the rest of the house was kind of upset about it. The best part? Aaryn and Jeremy acted like they had been wronged. They were the victims. I hate people like that. Own up to what you did wrong.

On the plus side, I hear Aaryn lost her job because of her racist comments. So did  GinaMarie

Now, back to the actual show.

I cannot believe McRae used the Veto to put Elissa up just because 'the house' wanted him to do that. I doubt they would've cared much. It annoyed his alliance a bit, which I expected. But really.. he could've worked with Elissa, and now I hope she goes after him for revenge. He could've just left his nominations the same.

I'm glad Elissa got MVP, and glad she put David up. It just annoys me that she put David up for McRae and he still put her up.

Just as I figured, Jeremy went against his alliance and voted to keep David, but I am so glad he went home. The look on Aaryn's face made my day. I hope it puts her in her place a little.

Oh, and one more thing.. the Amanda/McRae showmance? Wow that was unexpected.

Obviously I can't wait until the next episode.

Big Brother 15 Episode One: The Cast

[ via ]
Forgive me for what I'm about to do, but if you don't like Big Brother, avoid this.

Big Brother 15 started last night. I've loved this show since my high school year. I think I started watching in summer of 2004. So these are my thoughts.

I love the MVP twist (where America votes on who they think is playing the best game, and that person gets to anonymously nominate a third person to go on the block just before the Veto ceremony. I should make for an interesting season.

As for the cast, I'm going to give my first opinion. Something fun to look back on once I love or hate some of them more. I'll go in order that they're in the photo above.

1. Dave
Annoying.

2. Candice
She made a bitchy comment about someone early on that led me to not like her much. Reminds me of Monet already. I hate people who are so quick to bitch and judge the second they walk into the house.

3. Andy
I could like him.

4. Amanda
Might end up being a favorite.

5. Aaryn
Gorgeous! I'm no lesbian, but I will enjoy watching her for as long as she lasts this season. It also seems like she might be a decent player. Another potential favorite.

6. Spencer
I don't see other peoples appeal with him yet. So far I'm not a huge fan.

7. Nick
I think he's the cute guy of the house, and a potential favorite.

8. McRae
I like that he proved he's not useless right away. I hope that doesn't make him an immediate target. I find it funny how proud he is of his pizza job, and so everyone doesn't believe that's what he does. I also quite enjoyed his "I'm not gay, but if I was I'd tear him apart" comment about Howard.

9. Kaitlyn
Her comment about how she doesn't get along with girls made me dislike her. If you don't get along with girls, it's usually because you're a bitch.

10. Judd
Holy accent. No real opinion on him yet though.

11. Jessie
Her comment about being the prettiest girl in the room annoyed me. I forget who the other people in the room were at the time, but at least one of them was prettier. Come down off your high horse. And get a job.

12. Jeremy
Seems a little douche-y. I'll give him more of a chance though.

13. Howard
No real opinion on him yet.

14. Helen
I think she may go far. A favorite so far.

15. GinaMarie
Stop talking.

16. Elissa
Rachel's sister! I loved Rachel. I hope she goes far.

Big Brother Canada: My Thoughts

I haven't blogged about Big Brother Canada all season. I mean, I never blog about any Big Brother, but I watch the show religiously when it's on. So does my boyfriend. We lay in bed some nights and talk Big Brother instead of doing what normal couples might do. Lame. Kidding.

I think I got more into this season since the people are Canadian (woot).

Evel Dick basically sums up all my thoughts on everything perfectly, but I'm still going to go on with this anyway.

The finale was crazy. Here's a recap along with some houseguest thoughts

Of course there were the people who annoyed me at the beginning. Gary - He was a little much to handle, but he grew on me in a big way. Love him. Talla - I hated her opening and finale night shoes.

I didn't love anyone right away, but started to love watching Peter and Alec, up until they turned on Topaz.

Topaz. Wow.. where to start on that one?

I still can't believe the twist where they let house guests listen in to her personal thoughts, especially since they never did anything like that to anyone else. Twists are one thing, but twists that trick you into revealing your game? Shouldn't be a part of the game. That should happen by people listening behind closed doors, not by letting the housemates watch you secretly. Creepy and mean.

Her finale vote was just embarrassing. Getting up and trying to fight it, I can understand. Not sitting back down after Arisa told her to a million times? Just got more and more awkward to watch. She was embarrassing herself. You cost Gary the win, move on.

At least I knew Gary would be awesome about it and not hate Topaz for it.

Emmett was a sore loser on finale night. You could've taken Talla to the final three, pretty much guaranteeing that a) you and Jillian would make final two or b) you or Jillian could turn on each other, one of you take Talla to the final three and basically have a sure thing win. Talla never ever would've won the final HoH competition. You had no problem with Gary coming back in the game until he put you out.

And Gary. Love Gary for always doing the best thing for his game, not the easy thing. He was my favorite HoH because he wanted to make big moves, and he wasn't scared to say it. My favorite moment is when he's talking with Jillian to put up and she suggests two 'floaters' at the time... Andrew and someone?  I don't have speakers to watch the youtube video to make sure it's the right clip, but I love it when she tells her that's stupid.

I don't like that he got voted back in so late. Getting voted back in is one thing, but that late in the game is just unfair to everyone else who worked to stay in the game. You didn't get to stay, so I don't see how you should get a couple of weeks of safety then go back in with almost no time left to even evict him if they wanted to. But good on Gary for doing what he had to do to make final two whenever he was back in.

I wanted Gary to win, but you can't deny that Jillian earned a win. Peter's question to her was stupid, and insanely bitter. He used to be a favorite but I was not a fan of him on finale night. You can't say Jillian didn't earn her spot, and that Emmett took her to the end. Jillian made the big moves, got the blood on her hands, and won enough competitions that people couldn't get her out even if they wanted to. Emmett definitely played a better social game by not getting his hands dirty, but he still ended up in jury.

Talla.. I'm glad she made one more awkward voting face during finale. I'm glad she made it as far as she did, because even just her facial expressions were funny to watch.

Kat. Who cares about Kat, and why the hell is she still so bitter? I love houseguests that get evicted before jury, but still think they played a great game. If you were evicted on week one, obviously you played the wrong game. So stop being bitter and get over it.

I'm going to shut up now, because I'm sure I've said enough, but could probably go on for hours if prompted. Hoping to catch this 'Morning Show' that they speak of later tonight online somewhere.

Cant wait until the next season of Big Brother.

I just hope it's not another season with old houseguests. My favorite part of Big Brother Canada was that it was all new people. Not a newbies/veterans season. I'm so sick of those.
